Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov holds session of regional organizing committee of XVI World Aquatics Championship

On January 26, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held the session of regional organizing committee of the XVI World Aquatics Championship. Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, heads of Ministries and Agencies of Tatarstan Republic participated in the event.
Tatarstan President reminded that 178 days are left until the World Aquatics Championship starts, and all competitive and training sport facilities are to be ready by July 10,2015.
13 working groups of regional organizing committee reported about current organizational issues. It was said that 27,154 tickets that comprise 10% of total amount have already been sold.
In conclusion, Rustam Minnikhanov pointed out that it is very essential to hold the championship at the highest level. The most important issue is security. In addition, we should represent our city and our country.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
