Ninety students and post-graduate students become winners of Tatarstan Republic special state grant

On January 26, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov had a meeting with the winners of Tatarstan Republic special state grant. Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan Engel Fattakhov, Deputy Chairman of Tatarstan State Council Tatyana Larionova, Tatarstan Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sport Vladimir Leonov, rector of Kazan federal university Ilshat Gafurov took part in the event.
90 students and post-graduate students become winners of Tatarstan Republic special state grant in 2014. Most of them(70 people) get education in Kazan.
It should be noted that the grant was established in 1998 to consolidate the state support in receiving vocational trainings, to preserve and further develop intellectual potential of the Republic of Tatarstan.The winners are students who demonstrated outstanding abilities in educational and scientific activities.
The grant for post-graduate students comprises 33.3 thousand roubles, it amounts to 27.8 thousand roubles for students of higher educational institutions and cadets of military schools, and 16.7 thousand roubles are for students of secondary vocational educational establishments.
Ildar Khalikov said that the young people are considered to be the future of Tatarstan. “You are our future as well as our present because you do useful work. Moreover, you have unique opportunities to realize your potential in scientific, social, political and business spheres. Various regional and federal forums, competitions, special projects are held”, he noted.
Then, winners told about their achievements and research work.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
