Tatarstan President takes part in All-Russia meeting on anti-recession measures

On January 28, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a meeting held by Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev on measures to ensure sustainable economic development and social stability.
According to Medvedev, the anti-recession plan of the Russian Federation should provide conditions for the development of industry, agriculture and innovation. "The work will be carried out in several areas. First of all, it is necessary to maintain a very important part of life - macroeconomic and social stability, create conditions for the development of the industry, where possible, agriculture, innovation,” the Prime Minister said.
He said that the plan will be adjusted based on the situation in the economy and called the meeting participants to prepare their proposals to make changes to the federal and regional plans, if necessary.
"Eventually, we need to create conditions for sustainable growth of the economy", Medvedev said.
Dmitry Medvedev asked the regions to reduce taxes to ensure the investment growth and establish new production facilities.

On 24 April in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin held a joint meeting the Council for Enforcement of Legislation of Languages of Tatarstan and the organizational committee for celebrations of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay which summarized results of work of the regional law enforcement on official languages of the republic and considered progress of the implementation of the plan of main events for preparation and celebration of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay .
On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service.
