Ildar Khalikov holds meeting in Nizhnekamsk on preparation for anniversary of city

On January 31, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov held the first off-site meeting in Nizhnekamsk on preparation for 50th anniversary of the city. It should be noted that, in August, 2014, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov signed an edict on celebrating 50th anniversary of the city in 2016. The organizing committee chaired by Tatarstan President consists of 22 people.
Before the meeting, members of the organizing committee visited facilities of Cultural Center, Children's municipal hospital with perinatal centre, Nizhnekamsk Central District multi-field hospital to be reconstructed and presented for 50th anniversary.
In addition, representatives of the organizing committee looked around Lemaev square to be reconstructed and discussed improvement of Central city park, construction of a new school and kindergarten in new residential neighbourhoods of Nizhnekamsk.
Later, Ildar Khalikov emphasized that all facilities to be looked over are reasonably chosen as citizens need up-to-date medical, educational and cultural institutions and they will be built here in the future despite the fact that it requires large investments.
“Such attention to the anniversary is not occasional. Nizhnekamsk is a major industrial centre of Tatarstan as well as of Russia. It is the third most populous city in the republic and one of the largest petrochemical centres in the country. The events, dated to 50th anniversary should be carried out at level worthy of Nizhnekamsk”, Ildar Khalikov noted and reported on works to be done in 2014.
As for 2015, 97 houses will be repaired under capital repair programme. The third kindergarten will be built with two ones constructed in 2014. This year 67.2 billion roubles will be allocated from the budget to greenfield development within the framework of “Year of squares and parks” programme realization.
Summing up, Ildar Khalikov thanked the heads of Tatneft and TAIF group companies for taking an active part in city events and expressed hope for further collaboration in preparation for anniversary of Nizhnekamsk.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
On May 14, Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan to take part in the events of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, was met by Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and other officials at the Kazan International Airport.
