Anti-recession offices to be established in Tatarstan municipalities

On February 1, at weekly video conference meeting, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that heads of Tatarstan municipalities should be well-informed about economic situation in their municipalities.
“Economic situation in Russia is challenging, a number of events to happen last year brought about significant consequences. Currently, the Government of the Russian Federation and the Central Bank of the Russian Federation are taking measures to improve the situation. Anti-recession plan is just under elaboration and we should not wait for the measures to be taken by Moscow, we should also work out our own ones”, Tatarstan President noted, opening the meeting.
Rustam Minnikhanov reported that the anti-recession office has been established at the premises of Economic Council under Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers. “Such offices are to be organized in every municipality as it is essential to have the full knowledge of the situation at the local level”, he added.
To the point, head of municipalities are tasked to monitor the situation in labour market.
Tatarstan President summed up that the situation will not change by itself, and we have to deal with the situation.

On 24 April in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin held a joint meeting the Council for Enforcement of Legislation of Languages of Tatarstan and the organizational committee for celebrations of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay which summarized results of work of the regional law enforcement on official languages of the republic and considered progress of the implementation of the plan of main events for preparation and celebration of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay .
On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects.
