Rustam Minnikhanov tells Minister of Sport of Russian Federation about preparation for XVI World Aquatics Championship in 2015

On February 2, in Moscow, Russian Minister of Sport Vitaly Mutko and Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the meeting on preparation for XVI World Aquatics Championship to be hosted in Kazan in 2015.
Deputy Minister of Sports of Russia Natalya Parshikova, Tatarstan Minister of construction, architecture and housing and utilities Irek Faizullin, Tatarstan Minister of Youth Affairs and Sport Vladimir Leonov and other Russian and Tatarstan officials discussed the process of preparation for the Championship, fulfilled work on sports venues to be used during the Championship. They also considered the budget of competitions and proposed not to cut it.
To the point, it was agreed that the regular session on preparation and holding of XVI World Aquatics Championship will be held in March, 2015 in Kazan with participation of Russian Minister of Sport Vitaly Mutko.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
