Tatarstan residents can pay housing and utilities bills on state services website with zero commission

On February 3, speaking at a briefing at Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers, Tatarstan Minister of Information and Communication Roman Shaikhutdinov said that a zero commission for paying housing and utilities bills via Tatarstan’s state services website and Tatarstan Services mobile application was set in Tatarstan on February 1.
He said the work to reduce the size of commission that Tatarstan state services portal users were charged was done at the instruction of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov. The previous flat сommission rate of 10 per cent was cancelled on December 1. A zero rate was introduced for all holders of Ak Bars Bank cards starting from 1 February.
The Minister reported that 20 per cent of all payments were made using Ak Bars Bank cards and 40 percent with Sberbank cards, while the remaining 40 per cent were distributed between other banks.
The list of management companies allowing zero-commission housing and utilities payments has been published on the Tatarstan state services portal. As of now, agreements on 600,000 of 1,270,000 business accounts have been concluded.
“Therefore, half of the business accounts in the republic can pay for housing and utilities services without commission,” The minister commented.
On 5 February Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in ceremony of awarding winners of the regional competition “The Woman of the Year. The Man of the Year: A Woman’s View” held at the Korston Leisure and Recreation Center in Kazan.
On 4 March at a briefing in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Minister of Land and Property Relation Fanil Agliullin told about changes in land legislation enforced from 1 March of the current year. He said that they simplify a number of procedures for land plot owners including expanding the possibilities for land use and changing the rules for changing the category of a plot.
On 2 March in her address on the occasion of the Mentor’s Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: “Since 2025 this holiday established by Russian President Vladimir Putin has occupied a worthy place in the calendar of significant dates of our country, emphasizing the high status and significance of the mentoring mission.
On 28 February, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Director of the Fund “The Institute of Development of Tatarstan Cities” Nailya Nagumanova informed about preparation to the implementation of the Our Yard programme in the republic.
