Over 65,000 hectares of idle agricultural land detected in Tatarstan

On February 4, Tatarstan First Deputy Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in the collegium session of Tatarstan Ministry of Land and Property on results of its activity and tasks for 2015.
“Tatarstan consolidated budget revenues for 2014 from the use of state and municipal property , including income of holdings, amounted to more than 13.5 billion roubles. Tatarstan budget received more than 8 billion roubles. The Ministry of Land and Property of the Republic of Tatarstan generated 800 million roubles. Due to result of changes in federal legislation, approximately 450 million roubles from rental income and non-delineated land plot sales moved from the regional to the municipal level. A total of 5.5 billion roubles was recovered thanks to work related to filing suits while the budget lost 835,000 roubles because of debts on a rent for flats in multi-apartment houses. The plan on revenues to local budgets was fulfilled, local budgets received 5.5 billion roubles (7% higher than in 2013)”, Minister of Land and Property Azat Khamaev reported.
Azat Khamaev proceeded that annual inspections on use of state property and land plots, conducted by the ministry of land and property last year, detected over 65,000 hectares of idle agricultural land. The area was reduced to 33,000 hectare due to pre-court resolution procedures.
Tatarstan First Deputy Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin tasked to continue work related to state registration of land plots and real estate and cultivation of idle land.
On 5 February Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in ceremony of awarding winners of the regional competition “The Woman of the Year. The Man of the Year: A Woman’s View” held at the Korston Leisure and Recreation Center in Kazan.
On 4 March at a briefing in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Minister of Land and Property Relation Fanil Agliullin told about changes in land legislation enforced from 1 March of the current year. He said that they simplify a number of procedures for land plot owners including expanding the possibilities for land use and changing the rules for changing the category of a plot.
On 2 March in her address on the occasion of the Mentor’s Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: “Since 2025 this holiday established by Russian President Vladimir Putin has occupied a worthy place in the calendar of significant dates of our country, emphasizing the high status and significance of the mentoring mission.
On 28 February, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Director of the Fund “The Institute of Development of Tatarstan Cities” Nailya Nagumanova informed about preparation to the implementation of the Our Yard programme in the republic.
