Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in opening of new sports complex in Kaibitsky region, Tatarstan

On February 13, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and heads of ministries took part in opening of new sports complex in Kaibitsky region of the republic.
Minnikhanov congratulated residents of the region on the event: “Tatarstan is considered to be the sports capital of Russia. This can be said not only about Kazan, many regions of the republic also take part in different programmes. We are building sports complexes in all regions, and have opened one in Kaibitsky region. It has been constructed by Tatarstan builders,” Minnikhanov said.
Tatarstan President also handed over the certificate for purchasing a minibus to head of the region.
Master of sports of Russia, 37-time champion of Russia Yana Martynova congratulated everyone on such an important event. “This object is opened on the threshold of the World Aquatics Championship. It is a unique opportunity to train future champions, who will bring victories to our country. I express my gratitude to Tatarstan President, who supports opening of such centers,” she said.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
