Rustam Minnikhanov holds business meetings and negotiations in Abu Dhabi

On February 22, during his trip to Abu Dhabi with the official Russian delegation led by Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held business meetings and negotiations.
Members of the delegation also took part in opening of the International Defence Exhibition IDEX-2015 (Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, February 22).
IDEX is the largest exhibition of armament and equipment of land and naval forces. Members of the delegation looked around the expositions of UAE and Russian companies.
Later on Minnikhanov met Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Commander-in-chief of UAE Armed Forces, crown prince of Abu Dhabi, and Minister of Defence, head of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum.
At his meeting with CEO of Mubadala investment fund Khaldoon Al Mubarak, Rustam Minnikhanov discussed further cooperation.
Under reached agreements, UAE businessmen and representatives of Mubadala investment fund will visit the Republic of Tatarstan in the nearest future.
Tatarstan President also confirmed his intention to take part in Annual Investment Meeting (AIM) in Dubai on March 30- April 1 2015.

On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatutllin informed that in the current year the Ministry will take part in implementation of five national projects and three state programmes with planned construction and capital overhaul of 172 facilities for the total sum of 17bn rubles.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov informed that it is expected to achieve a comparable growth of produce of 1.5%, including that in food production - at least 2.6% in the agricultural sector.

On 4 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety of the republic, has taken a decision to put into operation the “Buran” (Snow storm) plan in Tatarstan starting from 2 pm on 4 January until the consequences of adverse meteorological events are eliminated by ministries, departments and organizations which ensure the smooth movement of road and rail transport in winter.

On 3 January on the errand from the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situations and ensuring fire safety of the republic , held an urgent meeting of the Commission which discussed readiness of forces and means to ensure security during the New Year and Christmas holidays.
