Rustam Minnikhanov meets Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan – the UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs

On February 23, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who is with official Russian delegation led by Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov in Abu Dhabi, met Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan – the UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs, Co-Chairman of Intergovernmental Russian-Emirate Commission for Trade, Economic and Technical Cooperation.
Issues related to cooperation in the field of air traffic, industry, as well as implementation of joint projects in some areas of the economy were discussed during the meeting. Also, traditional areas of bilateral Russia-United Arab Emirates relations were touched upon.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan visited a number of stands of Russian companies - participants of the International Defense Exhibition IDEX-2015 (National Exhibition Centre, Abu Dhabi).

On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatutllin informed that in the current year the Ministry will take part in implementation of five national projects and three state programmes with planned construction and capital overhaul of 172 facilities for the total sum of 17bn rubles.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov informed that it is expected to achieve a comparable growth of produce of 1.5%, including that in food production - at least 2.6% in the agricultural sector.
On 4 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety of the republic, has taken a decision to put into operation the “Buran” (Snow storm) plan in Tatarstan starting from 2 pm on 4 January until the consequences of adverse meteorological events are eliminated by ministries, departments and organizations which ensure the smooth movement of road and rail transport in winter.
On 3 January on the errand from the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situations and ensuring fire safety of the republic , held an urgent meeting of the Commission which discussed readiness of forces and means to ensure security during the New Year and Christmas holidays.
