Tatarstan Minister of Economy: we will continue supporting small and medium-size enterprises in Tatarstan

On February 24, at a briefing at Tatarstan cabinet of ministers, Minister of economy Artem Zdunov said that the republic will apply for participation in the contest of Russian Ministry of Economic Development on supporting small and medium-size enterprises.
Tatarstan Deputy Minister of Economy Rustem Sibgatullin and Head of the business support centre Dilyus Shavaliev took part in the briefing.
According to Artem Zdunov, support of businessmen under Leasing-grant programme will be continued this year. He noted that the support is rendered in two areas, creation of infrastructure and direct financial support.
“We think that the government should help by leasing out premises with utilities. There are 38 accredited municipal industrial sites in the republic. We are in the lead in the country,” Zdunov said.
The minister noted that it is planned to enhance the microfinance and guarantee funds, and increase interest rate subsidies to provide financial support to entrepreneurs.
On 24 December Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a charity action “The Christmas Tree of Wishes” held during the 17th session of the State Council of the republic of the seventh convocation.
The Head of the Government of the republic will fulfill wishes of five-year old Landysh who dreams of a guitar, 13-year old Zariva who will get a smart speaker, eight-year old Leyla dreaming of a bike and 16-year old Evelina who will be given an e-book.
On 20 December, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and House Utilities Sector of the republic Damir Shaydullin informed that huge work in capital overhaul of 713 social and cultural facilities have been completed in the republic with the total cost of work of 15bn rubles.
On 20 December, in his address on the occasion of the Russian Security Bodies Officers Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated employees and old stagers of the service with their professional holiday and wrote: “

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
