Rustam Minnikhanov: “Under crisis conditions employees of Arbitration court will have more work”

On February 25, at a session of Tatarstan Arbitration court on results of work in 2014, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that considering current economic situation the number of petitions sent to courts will increase.
Chairman of Tatarstan Arbitration court Nikolay Novikov, Chairman of Arbitration court of Volga Federal District Yuri Glazov, Chief federal inspector in Tatarstan Renat Timerzyanov, and Chief of staff of Tatarstan President’s office Asgat Safarov took part in the session.
Summarizing results of 2014, Novikov said that the number of petitions sent to arbitration court has decreased by 1.7 per cent and made 29, 852. As compared to 2013, the number of petitions about declaring bankruptcy has increased.
Minnikhanov noted that the average work load at arbitration courts is very high, the duration of cases hearing has reduced. Positive dynamics is observed due to constant improvement of professional skills of judges and systematic work on simplification of arbitral proceedings.
Speaking about execution of court decisions, Minnikhanov said that it is important to make legal and grounded decisions and achieve strict execution of judgments.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
