Alexander Terentyev: Tatarstan is a pilot region for testing the unified federal system of monitoring the interethnic situation

On February 25, speaking at an extended session of the Presidential Council for inther-ethnic relations held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Deputy Chief of Staff of Tatarstan President’s Administrative Office - Head of the Department for domestic policy Alexander Terentyev said that all the programme documents adopted in Tatarstan, contributing to the preservation of interethnic and interreligious harmony, are aimed at preserving languages and cultures of the peoples living in Tatarstan and ensuring inter-ethnic and inter-religious peace and concord, harmonization of interethnic relations.
Among main programme documents Alexander Terentyev mentioned the Concept of the state national policy in Tatarstan and state programmes, including "The implementation of the state national policy in Tatarstan for 2014 - 2020 years", "Preservation of national identity of Tatar people (2014 - 2016 years)," "Preservation, learning and development of state languages of the Republic of Tatarstan and other languages in the Republic of Tatarstan for 2014 - 2020 years ", as well as the sub-programme "Prevention of terrorism and extremism in the Republic of Tatarstan for 2014-2016 years", " Ensuring public order and combating crime in the Republic of Tatarstan for 2014 - 2020 years ", and others.
Terentyev reminded that Tatarstan is one of the 11 pilot regions for testing the unified federal system of monitoring the interethnic situation.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
