On February 25, at their meeting in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Director General of Schwabe holding Sergey Maksin discussed prospects of innovative engineering center - “Schwabe” technology city.
Presentation of the project was held for Rustam Minnikhanov.
The project of optical-electronic engineering center was presented in October 2013 during the session of Military-industrial commission under Russian Government with participation of Vice-Premier Dmitry Rogozin. The project is aimed at developing modern competitive imaging infrared channels, electrooptical modules and devices for optical and electronic systems that will provide stable financial conditions for development of Schwabe holding.
“Schwabe” technology city will be located at Smart City Kazan near Kazan international airport. According to Rustam Minnikhanov, such a location together with intermodal transport line, exhibition center and other projects will make the technology city very competitive.

On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatutllin informed that in the current year the Ministry will take part in implementation of five national projects and three state programmes with planned construction and capital overhaul of 172 facilities for the total sum of 17bn rubles.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov informed that it is expected to achieve a comparable growth of produce of 1.5%, including that in food production - at least 2.6% in the agricultural sector.
On 4 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety of the republic, has taken a decision to put into operation the “Buran” (Snow storm) plan in Tatarstan starting from 2 pm on 4 January until the consequences of adverse meteorological events are eliminated by ministries, departments and organizations which ensure the smooth movement of road and rail transport in winter.
On 3 January on the errand from the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situations and ensuring fire safety of the republic , held an urgent meeting of the Commission which discussed readiness of forces and means to ensure security during the New Year and Christmas holidays.
