Rustam Minnikhanov: We appreciate the opportunity to develop cooperation between Tatarstan and Kyrgyz Republic within the framework of Russia- Kyrgyzstan relations

On March 3, at his meeting with Prime Minister of Kyrgyz Republic Dzhoomart Otorbayev in Bishkek, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that the main purpose of the visit to Kyrgyz Republic is expansion of cooperation.
“We appreciate the opportunity to develop cooperation between Tatarstan and Kyrgyz Republic within the framework of friendly Russia- Kyrgyzstan relations,” Minnikhanov said. He reminded that cooperation between the republics is based on intergovernmental Agreement signed between Tatarstan and Kyrgyzstan in 1996.
“We are aimed at developing cooperation in economic, humanitarian, educational and cultural spheres,” Tatarstan President stressed. He also thanked Kyrgyzstan leadership for supporting Tatars living in the country.
Dzhoomart Otorbayev, in his turn, thanked Rustam Minnikhanov for the visit. “We know about economic and other achievements of Tatarstan,” he added.
During the meeting the parties also discussed holding of days of Tatarstan in Kyrgyzstan and Days of Kyrgyzstan in Tatarstan.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
