According to CNews assessment Republic of Tatarstan is a leader-2009 in IT use in state sector

According to results of contest “Best IT project in state sector” held by CNews projects which were realized in Republic Tatarstan have become the winners in several nominations. By experts’ assessment the projects gained maximum number of points.

We remind that contest “Best IT project in state sector” was held by agency CNews Analytics within framework of preparing annual survey “IT in state power bodies”. Experts assessed the most significant and interesting projects which have been realized in state sector in 2008 and at the beginning of 2009.

The information about projects was given by IT companies which filled in the questionnaire on CNews site.

Within framework of contest the following nominations were defined: “Best infrastructure project of year”, “Best IT service “State-citizen”, “The best IT service “State-business”, “Best IT project on increasing effectiveness of state management”, “Most socially significant IT project of year”, “Innovation of year in IT systems of state management” and others.

All projects were assessed taking into account such criteria as effectiveness, innovativeness and immensity. Projects realized in Republic Tatarstan got the maximum points in three main nominations “Best infrastructure project of year”, “Best IT service “State-citizen”, “Best IT project on increasing effectiveness of state management”.

In nomination “Best infrastructure project of year” the winner was the project “State integrated system of telecommunications of Republiс Tatarstan” (performer – State Institution “Centre of information technologies of Republic Tatarstan”, employer – Government of Republic Tatarstan). The project of introducing infomats of the third generation in Republic Tatarstan (performerr – Logic Systems, employer - State Institution “Centre of information technologies of Republic Tatarstan”) won in nomination “Best IT service “State-citizen”. In nomination “The best IT project on increasing effectiveness of state management” the winner became “The single system of electronic documents circulation in Republic Tatarstan” (performer – JSC “Modern Internet Technologies”, employer - State Institution “Centre of information technologies of Republic Tatarstan”).
