Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Russian Minister of Agriculture Nikolay Fedorov visit Maisky greenhouse complex

On March 6, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Russian Minister of Agriculture Nikolay Fedorov, Tatarstan Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Akhmetov, Head of Zelenodolsk region Alexander Tygin visited Maisky greenhouse complex.
The complex was founded in 1974. Its total area is 42 hectares.
Director General of Maisky greenhouse complex Ilshat Ganiev said that 30.5 thousand tonnes of cucumbers and tomatoes were produced there last year.
The guests were also shown around the center for maintaining soil quality, where Ganiev stressed that only home-produced equipment is used there.
Rustam Minnikhanov and Nikolay Fedorov looked around greenhouses for growing tomatoes, cucumbers, sweet peppers, strawberry and lettuce.
It was noted that the company’s total income made 476.9 million roubles last year.
Minnikhanov called for finding new customers and increasing the production output.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
