Russian Minister of Agriculture: Tatarstan receives over 6.5 billion roubles for spring field works

On March 6, speaking at a meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission for considering issues related to seasonal field works and rendering prompt assistance to the agribusiness complex governing bodies of the Russian regions, Russian Minister of Agriculture Nikolai Fedorov saod that about 100 million tonnes of grain should be harvested this year by Russian agricultural firms and farmers to provide the country with food.
Opening the meeting devoted to spring field works in 2015 and vegetable-growing under cover, Nikolai Fedorov told about main figures of federal support to the agro-industrial complex. According to him, over 98.5 billion roubles have been transferred to regional directorates of the federal department for these purposes. The regional bodies have distributed ten per cent of the sum to agricultural firms.
According to Fedorov, Tatarstan has received over 6.5 billion rubles from the federal budget, of which about 7 per cent have been transferred to agricultural producers.
Russian Agriculture Minister stressed that in 2015 the amount of federal support for farmers has increased compared to the previous year.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
