Representative of McKinsey company Andrew Grant delivers lecture on increasing efficiency of work of state authorities

On March 11, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov met Head of the Experts Department of McKinsey company Andrew Grant in Kazan.
McKinsey&Company is a leading international company providing services in the sphere of management consulting. Since 1993 the company has worked with leaders in the Russian market and provided services to customers from Russia and other countries, including oil, gas, bank, and retail companies.
McKinsey cooperates with Russian state authorities, international financial and cultural organizations.
Minnikhanov and Andrew Grant discussed cooperation in the sphere of consulting and training of government employees.
Later the same day, Andrew Grant delivered a lecture for Tatarstan authorities at the Cabinet of Ministers on the topic of increasing efficiency of work of state authorities. In his lecture he focused on interdepartmental relations, separation of powers of central and branch agencies, and encouragement of state agencies for cooperation through setting common goals.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
