Tatarstan to allocate 300 million roubles to improve parks and squares in Kazan

On March 11, speaking at a briefing at Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers, Deputy Head of Kazan Executive Committee for external improvement Igor Kulyazhev said that as much as 300 million roubles are planned to allocate from Tatarstan budget to improve parks and squares in Kazan. Tatarstan Forestry Minister Almas Nazirov, Aide to Tatarstan President Olesya Baltusova and Aide to Tatarstan President on parks and squares Natalya Fishman took part in the meeting as well.
Igor Kulyazhev said that there were 130 parks and squares in Kazan, of which 32 would be improved this year. According to Tatarstan President’s decree, a guardian council, including heads of local enterprises was established for each park.
By and large, 300 million roubles are planned to be allocated from the regional budget to reconstruct parks and squares in Kazan. Igor Kulyazhev said that he hopes that the amount of sponsorship funds will be not less than the allocated amount. Totally, Tatarstan budget will transfer a billion roubles for these purposes.
Natalya Fishman, who has a work experience in Moscow, thinks that she has to not only improve parks and squares, but also create a space, where people will communicate with each other and have some rest.
Igor Kulyazhev said that preliminary versions, which would be showed to people in order to receive their opinions and offers, were being prepared.
It should be reminded that in accordance with Rustam Minnikhanov’s decree 2015 was declared the Year of Parks and Squares in the republic.
On 5 February Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in ceremony of awarding winners of the regional competition “The Woman of the Year. The Man of the Year: A Woman’s View” held at the Korston Leisure and Recreation Center in Kazan.
On 4 March at a briefing in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Minister of Land and Property Relation Fanil Agliullin told about changes in land legislation enforced from 1 March of the current year. He said that they simplify a number of procedures for land plot owners including expanding the possibilities for land use and changing the rules for changing the category of a plot.
On 2 March in her address on the occasion of the Mentor’s Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: “Since 2025 this holiday established by Russian President Vladimir Putin has occupied a worthy place in the calendar of significant dates of our country, emphasizing the high status and significance of the mentoring mission.
On 28 February, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Director of the Fund “The Institute of Development of Tatarstan Cities” Nailya Nagumanova informed about preparation to the implementation of the Our Yard programme in the republic.
