Russian Minister of Construction Mikhail Men meets Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov

March 12, in Moscow Russian Minister of Construction Mikhail Men and Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov discussed provision of WWII veterans with housing, realization of regional programmes of major repair of multi-apartment houses, relocation of citizens from dilapidated houses, and participation in the programme “Housing for Russian families”.
Minnikhanov reported that in 2008-2014 major repair works were carried out in 8,168 multi-apartment houses, and living conditions of 1.7 million people were improved. 33.1 thousand people moved in new flats. Major repair of 999 buildings under the programme is planned to be realized by September 2015.
It was noted that Tatarstan is one of 10 Russian regions leading in the volume of new housing construction and it was one of the first regions to realize the programme “Housing for Russian families”.
During the meeting the minister also focused on proving housing for veterans.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
