Russia is on the threshold of two grand-scale sport events – in 2013 Kazan will host the Universiade; in 2013 Winter Olympics will be held in Sochi. We want to organize unique and innovative Olympic Games.”
Svetlana Zhurova greeted the forum participants on behalf of the State Duma and all Olympic champions. “All the things here are being done for the good of sport,” Russian State Duma vice-speaker is convinced. “All innovations we can see at this exhibition are aimed at improvement of sportsmen’s performance and results.”
“It is a great honour for the republican authorities to host such a forum. Many things change in our life, and we understand that sports must be developed further,” Tatarstan Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov stated. “It is a pleasure that Kazan State University received a federal university status and FC Rubin defeated Barcelona in Spain on the threshold of the forum. Many events happen in life of our republic and we are glad that so many guests have arrived in Tatarstan.”
