Track and field athletics world championship 2012 among juniors may be held in Kazan

Such information was given by RT Minister of youth affairs, sport and tourism Marat Bariev at traditional briefing in RT Cabinet. By his words the issue was discussed within framework of the I sport forum “Russia-sports power” (October, 22-24, Kazan). Besides it was offered to create interregional track and field athletics centre in Kazan. Students from all Russian regions and other countries will be able to train there.

RT Minister of youth affairs, sport and tourism informed mass media that International Federation of boat racing offered Tatarstan joining a number of projects realizing by this federation.

Among 6 large sport competitions which have been held within framework of forum “Russia-sports power” Marat Bariev marked out gymnastic show (under the guidance of Irina Viner) and basketball competitions among wheelchair-bound invalids.

Head of RT Ministry of sport confirmed information about transfer of Kama state institute of physical culture (Kama state academy of physical culture, sport and tourism) to Kazan.

Secretary of Council under RF President on developing physical culture and sport Aleksey Kulakovsky answered journalists’ questions in mode of videoconference. He noted that the forum had been held at high level and thanked RT government leaders for organization and holding sport forum.
