Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in 6th session of Tatarstan State Council of the 5th convocation

The report on activity of executive authorities in 2014 will be the main issue discussed at the 6th session of Tatarstan State Council of the 5th convocation that opened today.
Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, and members of Tatarstan Government are taking part in the session held by Chairman of Tatarstan State Council Farid Mukhametshin.
Presidium submitted 42 issues for consideration, including 11 bills of regional laws and 28 bills of federal laws and legislative initiatives.
The report on activity of executive authorities in 2014 was received by the State Council on March 10 and has been considered by the parliament.
The decree “On ensuring fire safety in public places and introducing amendments in federal legislation” is planned to be accepted at the session.
The decree entrusts Tatarstan Government with working out legal aspect of intensifying fire safety control.

On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
On 1 December Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in N.I. Lobachevsky Prize and Medal Award Ceremony held in Kazan Federal University and handed in the award to the Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Chief Researcher of the St. Petersburg Department of Steklov Mathematical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences Sergei Ivanov who was awarded for the outstanding achievements in fundamental and applied mathematics.
