Ildar Khalikov: We should motivate potential employers for creating new jobs

On March 24, during his working trip to Naberezhnye Chelny, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov held a meeting on support of labour market in the republic. Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Protection Elmira Zaripova, representatives of administration of Naberezhnye Chelny and heads of local enterprises took part in the meeting.
Opening the meeting, Ildar Khalikov called for developing measures on supporting labour market without waiting for federal and regional financial help.
Making a keynote report, Zaripova noted that more than 1 million 974 thousand people work for the regional economy today. However, there is a decrease in all economic sectors mainly in small and medium-sized enterprises.
Every week the number of unemployed people increases by 300 people.
Ildar Khalikov asked employees of the ministry to find a solution for every dismissed worker.
According to Zaripova, 17, 613 people are registered at regional job centers. The unemployment level in the republic (0.94 per cent) is lower than in Russia (1.3 per cent) and Volga Federal District (1.1 per cent).
Summing up, Khalikov called heads of regional agencies and ministries to motivate employers for creating new jobs.
On 10 March, speaking at a briefing dedicated to the development of the national Max messenger in Tatarstan and held in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communication of the republic Ilya Nachvin informed that according to the data of March 2026 about 1.5m residents of Tatarstan use domestic Max messenger.
On 5 February Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in ceremony of awarding winners of the regional competition “The Woman of the Year. The Man of the Year: A Woman’s View” held at the Korston Leisure and Recreation Center in Kazan.
On 4 March at a briefing in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Minister of Land and Property Relation Fanil Agliullin told about changes in land legislation enforced from 1 March of the current year. He said that they simplify a number of procedures for land plot owners including expanding the possibilities for land use and changing the rules for changing the category of a plot.
On 2 March in her address on the occasion of the Mentor’s Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: “Since 2025 this holiday established by Russian President Vladimir Putin has occupied a worthy place in the calendar of significant dates of our country, emphasizing the high status and significance of the mentoring mission.
