Rustam Minnikhanov at the meeting with Italian Ambassador to Russia: relations between our countries and regional cooperation should be developing

On March 26, Acting Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met Italian Ambassador to Russia Cesare Maria Ragalini. The ambassador is visiting Kazan for the first time. Cesare Maria Ragalini is going to visit some cultural objects, including the Italian center of education and science at Kazan state university of architecture and engineering.
Rustam Minnikhanov welcomed the ambassador and thanked him for visa support rendered by the Italian Embassy and Consulate General.
Tatarstan exports oil, petrochemical products, plastics, synthetic rubber, wood to Italy, different equipment, overground transport means, ceramics, polymers, pharmaceuticals and latest technologies are imported from Italy.
Rustam Minnikhanov noted that there are 20 joint companies with participation of Italian capital are working in the republic. Among prospective areas of cooperation are petrochemistry, engineering, automotive industry, industrial modernization, innovations, agriculture and logistics. Cooperation in the sphere of education and exchange of students are very important as well, the president said.
Rustam Minnikhanov mentioned the Italian center of education and science at Kazan state university of architecture and engineering as a positive example of cooperation between Tatarstan and Italy.
Speaking about innovations, Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan delegation is willing to attend the exhibition of machine tools Emo Milano 2015 in Milan in October 2015.
Cesare Maria Ragalini said that his visit to Kazan is very important for him as a part of long-term relations between Russia and Italy.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
