Rustam Minnikhanov holds a number of business talks and meetings at the Annual Investment Meeting in Dubai

On March 30, within the framework of the Annual Investment Meeting in Dubai Acting President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with Minister of Economy of the United Arab Emirates Sultan al-Mansouri.

Minnikhaniv thanked Sultan al-Mansouri for the warm welcome and informative and useful forum. Our relations with the Emirates are becoming closer, he said. According to Minnikhanov, Tatarstan should become an ideal place in Russia, where the UAE will invest into interesting projects.

Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized the cooperation experience between Tatarstan and the UAE. He also outlined perspective collaboration spheres, including Islamic financing, KAMAZ and helicopters supply from Tatarstan as well as exhibitions.

In his turn Sultan al-Mansouri shared that he had had the most pleasant and huge impressions of visiting Tatarstan and Kazan among other places. “You managed to find a balance between traditions and modernity,” he said.

During the talks, both the Tatarstan and Emirates representatives appreciated the perspective cooperation. Rustam Minnikhanov invited the Minister to visit the KazanSummit 2015 International Investment Forum to be in Kazan on June 15-16.
