Rustam Minnikhanov meets official delegate from UAE in WorldSkills International (WSI) Mubarak Al Shamsi

On March 31, during his trip to UAE, Acting Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met an official delegate from UAE in WorldSkills International (WSI) Mubarak Al Shamsi.
Rustam Minnikhanov and Mubarak Al Shamsi discussed development of international movement WorldSkills, enhancing prestige of skilled professionals and professional education, and staff training in accordance with the latest market requirements.
Minnikhanov noted that Russia bids for hosting WorldSkills Competition in 2019 in Kazan.
UAE will host WorldSkills Competition in 2017 in Abu Dhabi.

On 4 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety of the republic, has taken a decision to put into operation the “Buran” (Snow storm) plan in Tatarstan starting from 2 pm on 4 January until the consequences of adverse meteorological events are eliminated by ministries, departments and organizations which ensure the smooth movement of road and rail transport in winter.

On 29 December, speaking at a briefing held in Tatarstan Government House on issues of ensuring the uninterrupted operation of road services and housing and communal services during the holidays, the First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector of the republic Damir Shaydullin said that during the holidays special attention will be given to providing heat supply to apartment buildings.

On 24 December Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a charity action “The Christmas Tree of Wishes” held during the 17th session of the State Council of the republic of the seventh convocation.
The Head of the Government of the republic will fulfill wishes of five-year old Landysh who dreams of a guitar, 13-year old Zariva who will get a smart speaker, eight-year old Leyla dreaming of a bike and 16-year old Evelina who will be given an e-book.
