Tatarstan First vice-premier Boris Pavlov holds meeting with General Director of «Guangdong Weihua Corporation» Ms Liu Xian on issue of using semi-subsistence wood

RT First deputy Prime Minister Boris Pavlov held meeting with General Director of «Guangdong Weihua Corporation» Ms Liu Xian and representatives of Chinese delegation. Participants of meeting discussed issues of cooperation within limits of implementation of investment project «Complex use semi-subsistence wood of sparsely- forested regions on example of Republic Tatarstan».

Boris Pavlov noted that currently use of semi-subsistence wood, rehabilitation and improvement of forestry are extremely urgent matters. Leadership of republic set task on commercialization of republican forest resources and its usage for concrete projects taking into account advanced technologies.

One of outstanding problems in republic is use of low-grade and overripe wood of deciduous species, Boris Pavlov said. He emphasized likewise that investment project would be realized within framework of private-state partnership with participation of Republic Tatarstan and «Guangdong Weihua Corporation».

General Director of «Guangdong Weihua Corporation» Ms Liu Xian expressed intention to create joint enterprise for lumbering and woodworking in Tatarstan. She noted that corporation is ready to invest 600 mln. yuans (about 80 mln. dollars) into implementation of investment project «Complex use semi-subsistence wood of sparsely- forested regions on example of Republic Tatarstan».

As many as 3m 175 thousand square meters of housing planned to put into operation in Tatarstan in 2026

On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatutllin informed that in the current year the Ministry will take part in implementation of five national projects and three state programmes with planned construction and capital overhaul of 172 facilities for the total sum of 17bn rubles.

On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov informed that it is expected to achieve a comparable growth of produce of 1.5%, including that in food production - at least 2.6% in the agricultural sector.

“Buran” (Snow storm) plan put into operation in Tatarstan

On 4 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety of the republic, has taken a decision to put into operation the “Buran” (Snow storm) plan in Tatarstan starting from 2 pm on 4 January until the consequences of adverse meteorological events are eliminated by ministries, departments and organizations which ensure the smooth movement of road and rail transport in winter.

Aleksey Pesoshin holds urgent meeting of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety

On 3 January on the errand from the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situations and ensuring fire safety of the republic , held an urgent meeting of the Commission which discussed readiness of forces and means to ensure security during the New Year and Christmas holidays.
