Fedor Bondarchuk tells Rustam Minnikhanov about work on new series about KAMAZ plant

On April 8, at his meeting with Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in Kazan, film director Fedor Bondarchuk told about work on new series about the history of truck manufacturer KAMAZ.
According to Bondarchuk, the new film will tell about people who worked at the plant, the history of Naberezhnye Chelny and KAMAZ-master team.
Fedor Bondarchuk noted that the script is being written now in cooperation with authors of a popular TV series “Molodezhka”.
“The history of KAMAZ is unique. It is the history of people, town and overcoming of economic and political difficulties,” Bondarchuk said.
Bondarchuk asked Rustam Minnikhanov to help with organizing filming at KAMAZ plant and training sites of KAMAZ-master team.
Rustam Minnikhanov highly estimated the idea of shooting a film about KAMAZ and assured Fedor Bondarchuk that regional leadership will render necessary assistance.
Aide to Tatarstan President Leila Fazleeva, Minister of youth affairs and sport Vladimir Leonov, and Head of Tatarstan President’s Press Office Andrei Kuzmin took part in the meeting.
On 18 January at a regular Saturday meeting in the Government House of the republic it was announced that by his decree from 18 January 2025 the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov appointed Marat Fayzrakhmanov to the post of the Minister of Finance of the republic.
On 15 January, speaking at a briefing in the Government house of the republic dedicated to implementation of national projects in Tatarstan, the Minister of Economy of the republic Midkhat Shagiakhmetov informed about main achievements of the republic in 2019-2024 and said that more than 228bn rubles has been allocated on implementation of the national projects in the republic for the last six years.
On 13 January Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov took part in a ceremony of opening a college for training qualified specialists in IT and robotics at the University of Innopolis. The college established as a pilot project will enroll first 75 students in 2025-2026 academic year, and, speaking at the ceremony, Roman Shaykhutdinov emphasized its strategic importance in the context of national tasks.
On January 12, on the Day of Prosecutor’s Office of the Russian Federation, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated the officials of the Prosecutor’s Office on their professional holiday.
