Denis Manturov: KAMAZ has all chances to settle in Indonesian market

On April 9, at a plenary session of intergovernmental Russia-Indonesia joint commission on trade-economic and technical cooperation in Korston hotel (Kazan), Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov said that KAMAZ has all chances to settle in Indonesian market.
The Indonesian delegation was led by Indonesia's Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, co-chairman of Russia-Indonesia joint commission for trade-economic and technical cooperation Sofyan Djalil.
Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the session.
Manturov noted that KAMAZ truck manufacturer is planning to set up assembly production and a service network in Indonesia. Sofyan Djalil supported the idea and noted that Indonesians will be glad to drive KAMAZ trucks in their country, but the trucks should meet many requirements, and one of the most important issues is organization of servicing and financial support.
“The position of Japan in Indonesian automotive market is very strong, therefore, it will take many efforts for a new player to prove itself. From our part, we will render all necessary support,” Sofyan Djalil said.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
