Rustam Minnikhanov: All projects proposed by our Hungarian colleagues will obtain overall support in Tatarstan

On April 10, speaking at a meeting of Russia-Hungary intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation, Acting Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that all projects proposed by our Hungarian colleagues will obtain overall support in Tatarstan.
Welcoming participants of the meeting, Minnikhanov expressed his gratitude to the leadership of Russia and Hungary for supporting economic and cultural projects between Tatarstan and Hungary. He stressed that the meeting of Russia-Hungary intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation coincided with the opening of the Consulate General of Hungary in Kazan, which should strengthen the relationship between Russia and Hungary.
Minnikhanov noted that Tatarstan and Hungarian energy companies are carrying out mutual work today. But it is time to pass on from energy supplies to the development of joint projects that could also enrich our relationship, Acting President of Tatarstan went on to say.
Touching upon the issues related to industrial policy, Minnikhanov focused on the production of automotive components. He reminded that at the beginning of June this year Kazan will host a forum with the participation of the largest manufacturers of automotive components, including Tatarstan, and invited the Hungarian colleagues to take part in it.
Being an industrial region of Russia Tatarstan has made great achievements in agriculture, Minnikhanov noted. He assured that the regional leadership will take all necessary measures to implement joint agricultural projects in the field of agriculture with Hungary.
Later on, Acting President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Hungarian Minister of foreign economic affairs Péter Szijjártó, who took part in the meeting, signed an agreement on the implementation of international and foreign economic relations in trade, economic, scientific, technical, environmental, humanitarian, cultural and other fields.
On 10 March, speaking at a briefing dedicated to the development of the national Max messenger in Tatarstan and held in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communication of the republic Ilya Nachvin informed that according to the data of March 2026 about 1.5m residents of Tatarstan use domestic Max messenger.
On 5 February Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in ceremony of awarding winners of the regional competition “The Woman of the Year. The Man of the Year: A Woman’s View” held at the Korston Leisure and Recreation Center in Kazan.
On 4 March at a briefing in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Minister of Land and Property Relation Fanil Agliullin told about changes in land legislation enforced from 1 March of the current year. He said that they simplify a number of procedures for land plot owners including expanding the possibilities for land use and changing the rules for changing the category of a plot.
On 2 March in her address on the occasion of the Mentor’s Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: “Since 2025 this holiday established by Russian President Vladimir Putin has occupied a worthy place in the calendar of significant dates of our country, emphasizing the high status and significance of the mentoring mission.
