On April 13, Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and chief editor of "Uchitelskaya gazeta" Peter Polozhevets discussed holding of All-Russia contest “Teacher of the year 2015” in Kazan.
Rustam Minnikhanov noted that the contest is a bright and important event for Russian pedagogical society, and holding of such a large-scale event is a big responsibility.
Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Education and Science Engel Fattakhov and Aide to Tatarstan President Leila Fazleeva took part in the meeting.

On 4 March at a briefing in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Minister of Land and Property Relation Fanil Agliullin told about changes in land legislation enforced from 1 March of the current year. He said that they simplify a number of procedures for land plot owners including expanding the possibilities for land use and changing the rules for changing the category of a plot.
