Head of RT Government Rustam Minnikhanov discusses perspectives of development and adoption of broadband Internet access with “Skartel” company

RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov held meeting with director of “Skartel” company Denis Sverdlov in House of RT government. They discussed perspectives of development and adoption of broadband Internet access in republic, including WiMAX technology.

“Skartel” is the first Russian company which launched high-speed data transmission based on Mobile WiMAX. The technology lets network abonents to move around the city keeping the connection.

Denis Sverdlov stressed that the company is rather interested in cooperation with Tatarstan in implementation of such projects as “E-government”. Besides large-scale preparation for Universiade 2013 will also require broadband Internet access.

At the meeting presented RT Minister of informatization and communications Farit Fazylzyanov, Head of RT Cabinet office Shamil Gafarov, General Director of centre of information technologies under RT Cabinet Nikolay Nikiforov.

As many as 3m 175 thousand square meters of housing planned to put into operation in Tatarstan in 2026

On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatutllin informed that in the current year the Ministry will take part in implementation of five national projects and three state programmes with planned construction and capital overhaul of 172 facilities for the total sum of 17bn rubles.

Head of the Tatarstan Ministry of Agriculture: Today priority is to prepare agricultural machinery for field work in 2026

On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov informed that it is expected to achieve a comparable growth of produce of 1.5%, including that in food production - at least 2.6% in the agricultural sector.

“Buran” (Snow storm) plan put into operation in Tatarstan

On 4 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety of the republic, has taken a decision to put into operation the “Buran” (Snow storm) plan in Tatarstan starting from 2 pm on 4 January until the consequences of adverse meteorological events are eliminated by ministries, departments and organizations which ensure the smooth movement of road and rail transport in winter.

Aleksey Pesoshin holds urgent meeting of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety

On 3 January on the errand from the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situations and ensuring fire safety of the republic , held an urgent meeting of the Commission which discussed readiness of forces and means to ensure security during the New Year and Christmas holidays.
