Ildar Khalikov inspects venues of World Aquatics Championship 2015 in Kazan

On April 14, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities Irek Faizullin, Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov, Minister of Youth Affairs and Sport Vladimir Leonov, Minister of Internal Affairs Artem Khokhorin visited venues of World Aquatics Championship 2015 in Kazan. The officials of the republic visited Burevestnik swimming-pool that will be used for training, Universiade Village where sportsmen will be accommodated, and the International information center near Universiade Village, where catering services will be provided for sportsmen.
Khalikov and his party also visited the Aquatics Palace, the main venue of the competitions. Preparation of the venue for the championship was discussed there in details.
According to employees of the Ministry of emergency situations, 20 fire safety violations were revealed at the Aquatics Palace. Issues of improvement of the surrounding area are to be solved. Ildar Khalikov asked to prepare questions to discuss them with Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.
Khalikov inspected installation of swimming pools and spectator stands at Kazan-Arena stadium . The Prime Minister held a meeting with participants of the detour at a conference hall of the stadium.
Later on the same day, Ildar Khalikov and his party visited Akcharlak, Olimp, and Orgsintez pools.
On 10 March, speaking at a briefing dedicated to the development of the national Max messenger in Tatarstan and held in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communication of the republic Ilya Nachvin informed that according to the data of March 2026 about 1.5m residents of Tatarstan use domestic Max messenger.
On 5 February Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in ceremony of awarding winners of the regional competition “The Woman of the Year. The Man of the Year: A Woman’s View” held at the Korston Leisure and Recreation Center in Kazan.
On 4 March at a briefing in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Minister of Land and Property Relation Fanil Agliullin told about changes in land legislation enforced from 1 March of the current year. He said that they simplify a number of procedures for land plot owners including expanding the possibilities for land use and changing the rules for changing the category of a plot.
On 2 March in her address on the occasion of the Mentor’s Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: “Since 2025 this holiday established by Russian President Vladimir Putin has occupied a worthy place in the calendar of significant dates of our country, emphasizing the high status and significance of the mentoring mission.
