Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in opening of KAMAZ assembly production at Ganja Auto Plant

On April 14, in the city of Ganja (Azerbaijan), Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan and Azerbaijan are united by longstanding friendly relations that helped to open KAMAZ assembly production at Ganja Auto Plant.
Minnikhanov thanked leadership of Azerbaijan and Vice-premier Yaqub Eyyubov for controlling preparatory work on opening the production.
“The project of OAO “KAMAZ” is a good example for other producers. People will have good jobs and salaries there,” Rustam Minnikhanov said. He expressed his confidence that authorities of Azerbaijan do their best for development of the country and increase of the quality of life.
Vice-premier of Azerbaijan Yaqub Eyyubov, Director General of OAO “KAMAZ” Sergey Kogogin, permanent representative of the Republic of Tatarstan in Azerbaijan Alfred Zakirov took part in the event.
During his visit to Baku, Rustam Minnikhanov and his party also visited a multipurpose center rendering state services.

On 10 March, speaking at a briefing dedicated to the development of the national Max messenger in Tatarstan and held in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communication of the republic Ilya Nachvin informed that according to the data of March 2026 about 1.5m residents of Tatarstan use domestic Max messenger.
On 5 February Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in ceremony of awarding winners of the regional competition “The Woman of the Year. The Man of the Year: A Woman’s View” held at the Korston Leisure and Recreation Center in Kazan.
On 4 March at a briefing in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Minister of Land and Property Relation Fanil Agliullin told about changes in land legislation enforced from 1 March of the current year. He said that they simplify a number of procedures for land plot owners including expanding the possibilities for land use and changing the rules for changing the category of a plot.
On 2 March in her address on the occasion of the Mentor’s Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: “Since 2025 this holiday established by Russian President Vladimir Putin has occupied a worthy place in the calendar of significant dates of our country, emphasizing the high status and significance of the mentoring mission.
