Rustam Minnikhanov and Moroccan Minister of foreign trade Mohamed Abbou discuss issues of further cooperation

On April 15, at his meeting with Moroccan Minister of foreign trade Mohamed Abbou, Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov told about development of foreign trade relations of the republic with Arabic countries.
He reminded that by the order of Russian President Vladimir Putin Russia-Islamic World Strategic Vision Group headed by Rustam Minnikhanov started working again.
“Morocco is a very interesting country with rich history. We are attentively following your development,” Rustam Minnikhanov said. He added that there are many interesting areas of cooperation between Tatarstan and Morocco, such as agricultural industry, high technologies and other spheres.
Minnikhanov invited guests from Morocco to the international economic summit KazanSummit-2015 that will be held in June.
Mohamed Abbou, in his turn, said that Morocco is interested in developing bilateral cooperation with the republic as one of the leading regions in Russia.
Deputy Prime Minister of the republic – Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov, Chief of Staff of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minulliina and representatives of Moroccan delegation took part in the meeting.
On 10 March, speaking at a briefing dedicated to the development of the national Max messenger in Tatarstan and held in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communication of the republic Ilya Nachvin informed that according to the data of March 2026 about 1.5m residents of Tatarstan use domestic Max messenger.
On 5 February Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in ceremony of awarding winners of the regional competition “The Woman of the Year. The Man of the Year: A Woman’s View” held at the Korston Leisure and Recreation Center in Kazan.
On 4 March at a briefing in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Minister of Land and Property Relation Fanil Agliullin told about changes in land legislation enforced from 1 March of the current year. He said that they simplify a number of procedures for land plot owners including expanding the possibilities for land use and changing the rules for changing the category of a plot.
On 2 March in her address on the occasion of the Mentor’s Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: “Since 2025 this holiday established by Russian President Vladimir Putin has occupied a worthy place in the calendar of significant dates of our country, emphasizing the high status and significance of the mentoring mission.
