Rustam Minnikhanov meets Chairman of National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of Iranian Parliament Aladdin Borijerdi

On April 15, at his meeting with Chairman of National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of Iranian Parliament Aladdin Borijerdi, Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that the republic is interested in fruitful cooperation with Iran in cultural and socio-economic spheres. He also told about his visit to Iran in March this year, when a number of productive meetings were held with Iranian authorities.
Aladdin Borijerdi noted that Tatarstan and Iran have much in common in culture and religion that can help strengthening scientific, cultural, educational and economic cooperation.
Deputy Chairman of Tatarstan State Council Rimma Ratnikova and members of Iranian delegation took part in the meeting.
On 10 March, speaking at a briefing dedicated to the development of the national Max messenger in Tatarstan and held in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communication of the republic Ilya Nachvin informed that according to the data of March 2026 about 1.5m residents of Tatarstan use domestic Max messenger.
On 5 February Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in ceremony of awarding winners of the regional competition “The Woman of the Year. The Man of the Year: A Woman’s View” held at the Korston Leisure and Recreation Center in Kazan.
On 4 March at a briefing in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Minister of Land and Property Relation Fanil Agliullin told about changes in land legislation enforced from 1 March of the current year. He said that they simplify a number of procedures for land plot owners including expanding the possibilities for land use and changing the rules for changing the category of a plot.
On 2 March in her address on the occasion of the Mentor’s Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: “Since 2025 this holiday established by Russian President Vladimir Putin has occupied a worthy place in the calendar of significant dates of our country, emphasizing the high status and significance of the mentoring mission.
