Rustam Minnikhanov meets Ambassador of Sweden to Russia Bard-Bringéus

On April 16, by results of his meeting with Ambassador of Sweden to Russia Veronika Bard-Bringéus, Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov gave a number of tasks.

Ms Ambassador told about representatives of Swedish companies, who arrived in Kazan and are interested in establishing contacts and cooperation with Tatarstan enterprises.

Members of the delegation presented their companies and focused on potential areas of cooperation, - ecology, transport, health care, pharmaceutics, and engineering.

One of Swedish enterprises is interested in organization of solid waste disposal to generate energy from landfill gas. They suggested supplying waste processing lines and equipment for production of end products.

Companies working in housing and utilities sector and transport presented their solutions (production of heat exchangers, and customized heating units.
A representative of Volvo company expressed his interest in trucks that use liquid gas. Specialists of the company invited Rustam Minnikhanov to see smart cars. Rustam Minnikhanov was glad to accept the invitation.

Another Swedish company that produces ventilation and conditioning systems and has got experience in working in Kazan underground, offered cooperation in the sphere of health care.

Rustam Minnikhanov required considering all the offers in details and holding meetings at relevant ministries and agencies.

Veronika Bard-Bringéus said that within the framework of the days of Sweden in the Republic of Tatarstan (April 14-17), new ideas and solutions will be presented in different spheres, with the focus on innovations.

The days of Sweden in the Republic of Tatarstan are aimed at establishing business contacts between Tatarstan and Swedish companies, expansion of cultural and educational cooperation, and presentation of the latest achievements in economy, culture and art. The event is organized by Tatarstan Government, Swedish Embassy in Russia, and Business Sweden.
