“Cooperation with China is a good tradition for Tatarstan, and many events and projects are realized with the participation of Chinese partners. International experience has proved that construction of high-speed railways is a driver of economic development. Such projects gave impetus to development of regions where they were realized. It is important for us that Russian President Vladimir Putin personally supports this project,” Khalikov said.
Ildar Khalikov reminded that the regional information center of “Moscow-Kazan” high-speed railway was opened today at Kazan-2 railway station.
“There are big logistic centers, communications, transport infrastructure, river ports, and sorting areas in the republic. All this will help to increase efficiency of construction of this railway,” Ildar Khalikov summarized.
