Rustam Minnikhanov: We should pay special attention to development of transport logistics in the republic

On April 21, at a meeting on development of railway infrastructure in Tatarstan held at Alabuga Special Economic Zone, Interim President of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov said that “we should pay special attention to development of transport logistics in the republic”.
Participants of the meeting discussed development of railway infrastructure of Kuibyshev railway in Tatarstan.
Rustam Minnikhanov noted that the growth of industrial sector will lead to increase of transport loads on main traffic arteries of the republic.
Therefore, railway transport should become more attractive, and a flexible system of tariffs should be created, Minnikhanov said.
Head of Kuibyshev railway Sergey Solozhenkin noted that a mutually beneficial substantial dialogue has been established within the framework of cooperation with Tatarstan.
Solozhenkin told about work on development of Kuibyshev railway.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
