Rustam Minnikhanov visits production facilities of Nizhnekamskneftehim

On April 22, during his working trip to Nizhnekamsk region (Tatarstan), Acting President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited Nizhnekamskneftehim petrochemical company, isoprene monomer producing plant, and took part in solemn putting into service of the fourth rubber separation and drying unit “Welding” at butyl rubber manufacturing plant.
Speaking at the ceremony, Rustam Minnikhanov said that there is a good tradition to open new plants before annual shareholders meeting of Nizhnekamskneftehim. It is an export-oriented enterprise that consolidates its positions in the global market.
Minnikhanov congratulated workers of the plant on putting new production line into service.
He handed over Commendations of Tatarstan President to distinguished employees of the enterprise.
Rustam Minnikhanov was accompanied by Director General of Nizhnekamskneftehim Azat Bikmurzin, Director General of OAO “TAIF” Albert Shigabutdinov, and Head of Nizhnekamsk region Aidar Metshin.
On 10 March, speaking at a briefing dedicated to the development of the national Max messenger in Tatarstan and held in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communication of the republic Ilya Nachvin informed that according to the data of March 2026 about 1.5m residents of Tatarstan use domestic Max messenger.
On 5 February Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in ceremony of awarding winners of the regional competition “The Woman of the Year. The Man of the Year: A Woman’s View” held at the Korston Leisure and Recreation Center in Kazan.
On 4 March at a briefing in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Minister of Land and Property Relation Fanil Agliullin told about changes in land legislation enforced from 1 March of the current year. He said that they simplify a number of procedures for land plot owners including expanding the possibilities for land use and changing the rules for changing the category of a plot.
On 2 March in her address on the occasion of the Mentor’s Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: “Since 2025 this holiday established by Russian President Vladimir Putin has occupied a worthy place in the calendar of significant dates of our country, emphasizing the high status and significance of the mentoring mission.
