BlackBerry developers are interested in cooperation with Republic Tatarstan

Company RIM (Research In Motion) - developer of wireless hand device BlackBerry considers the possibility to create their design centre in Kazan. RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov and Vice-president of RIM company Mr Paul Lousie discussed perspectives of cooperation.

Rustam Minnikhanov noted at the meeting that republic is interested in serious partners for implementation of essential tasks in IT sector. “We welcome any innovations in IT industry and intend to create all facilities for developing IT projects”, - RT PM said. He paid special attention to the project “Electronic government of Republic Tatarstan”.

Representatives of RIM company highly assessed perspectives of IT park in Kazan. He considers it to be IT centre of global class.
