Rustam Minnikhanov gets acquainted with project for development of public spaces in Tatarstan

On April 23, Acting President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a seminar on modern improvement of public spaces in the republic.
Chief of Staff of Tatarstan President Asgat Safarov, Aide to Tatarstan President Natalya Fishman, members of Tatarstan Government, heads of municipalities and cities of the republic and other officials also attended the event held at the residence of the creative industry "Shtab".
Natalya Fishman presented a series of lectures on the development of public spaces. The seminar participants were told about how to make parks more attractive both for local citizens and tourists. In addition, Natalya Fishman noted the benefits of a modern approach to the organization of cultural events, such as theatrical performances under the open sky, creative campaigns and concerts, in parks.
Speaking at the seminar, Advisor to General Director of the VDNKh House of Culture Evgeny Pisarev touched upon the issue of the development of small business in public spaces. He called rental of spaces for holding concerts and campaigns, paid services (bike hire, etc.) and trading as the main ways of earning money.
Minnikhanov called projects for development of parks presented during the seminar promising and ready for implementation. Also, he has given an errand to work out a system of interaction between municipal and regional authorities in matters related to the improvement of public recreation areas.
On 10 March, speaking at a briefing dedicated to the development of the national Max messenger in Tatarstan and held in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communication of the republic Ilya Nachvin informed that according to the data of March 2026 about 1.5m residents of Tatarstan use domestic Max messenger.
On 5 February Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in ceremony of awarding winners of the regional competition “The Woman of the Year. The Man of the Year: A Woman’s View” held at the Korston Leisure and Recreation Center in Kazan.
On 4 March at a briefing in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Minister of Land and Property Relation Fanil Agliullin told about changes in land legislation enforced from 1 March of the current year. He said that they simplify a number of procedures for land plot owners including expanding the possibilities for land use and changing the rules for changing the category of a plot.
On 2 March in her address on the occasion of the Mentor’s Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: “Since 2025 this holiday established by Russian President Vladimir Putin has occupied a worthy place in the calendar of significant dates of our country, emphasizing the high status and significance of the mentoring mission.
