Vitaly Mutko: I am sure that the FINA world aquatics championship in Kazan will be held to the highest standard

On April 24, speaking at a meeting of the Organizing Committee on preparation and holding of the XVI FINA world aquatics championship in Kazan said that he is sure that the championship will be held to the highest level.
Our task is to organize this sports event at the highest level, Acting Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said. He noted that first of all it concerns the coordinated work of transport infrastructure, competent work of event managers and many other issues.
Tatarstan has experience of holding mega sports events, he said. The sports infrastructure created for the 2013 Universiade will be in demand during the world aquatics championship.
In his turn Mutko said that a number of major international sports events are planned to be held in Russia up to 2021. But this year's FINA World Championships in Kazan will be the main of them, he added.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “

There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
