Rustam Minnikhanov hands over State awards of the Republic of Tatarstan named after Gabdulla Tukai

On April 25, Acting Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a solemn ceremony dedicated to the Day of native language and birthday of a classic of Tatar poetry Gabdulla Tukai at Tatar academic state opera and ballet theatre named after M.Dzhalil.
Rustam Minnikhanov welcomed participants of the ceremony and thanked everyone who makes invaluable contribution to preservation of the Tatar language and national traditions. It plays a great role in the era of globalization, he added.
Rustam Minnikhanov continued that a number of programmes aimed at development of the native language are implemented in the republic, and the III International Olympiad in the Tatar language and literature was recently held in Kazan.
“Work on preservation of the Tatar language, culture and traditions requires many efforts and participation of every citizen of the republic,” Rustam Minnikhanov said.
Later on, Rustam Minnikhanov handed over state awards of the Republic of Tatarstan named after Gabdulla Tukai.
On 10 March, speaking at a briefing dedicated to the development of the national Max messenger in Tatarstan and held in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communication of the republic Ilya Nachvin informed that according to the data of March 2026 about 1.5m residents of Tatarstan use domestic Max messenger.
On 5 February Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in ceremony of awarding winners of the regional competition “The Woman of the Year. The Man of the Year: A Woman’s View” held at the Korston Leisure and Recreation Center in Kazan.
On 4 March at a briefing in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Minister of Land and Property Relation Fanil Agliullin told about changes in land legislation enforced from 1 March of the current year. He said that they simplify a number of procedures for land plot owners including expanding the possibilities for land use and changing the rules for changing the category of a plot.
On 2 March in her address on the occasion of the Mentor’s Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: “Since 2025 this holiday established by Russian President Vladimir Putin has occupied a worthy place in the calendar of significant dates of our country, emphasizing the high status and significance of the mentoring mission.
