Rustam Minnikhanov: Tatarstan intends to maintain relations with partners from Turkmenistan

On April 27, during his working trip to Turkmenistan, at his official meeting with President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov, Acting Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan intends to maintain relations with Turkmen partners.
Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by Director General of OAO “KAMAZ” Sergey Kogogin, Director General of OAO “Tatneft” Nail Maganov, arrived in Turkmenistan to take part in celebrations on the occasion of Akhal-Teke horse day.
Minnikhanov thanked Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov for the invitation to the celebrations and noted that cooperation between Tatarstan and Turkmenistan is developing in all spheres. He added that every time he visits the republic he is impressed by changes taking place there.
Rustam Minnikhanov thanked Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov for his support rendered to the local Tatar community. He wished President of Turkmenistan good luck, heath and prosperity.
Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov noted that Turkmenistan-Tatarstan relations become stronger every year, and there are many areas for further cooperation.
Noting the high level of organization of the World Student Games in 2013 in Kazan, Berdymukhamedov asked Minnikhanov to share his experience in connection with the 5th Asian games that will be held in Turkmenistan in 2017.
Rustam Minnikhanov promised to render necessary support to his Turkmen partners.
On 12 January, congratulating employees of the prosecutor’s office with their professional holiday - Day of the employee of the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation- Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin wrote in his address:
“For more than three centuries the prosecutor's office has been the guardian of state and public security as well as constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens of our country.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatutllin informed that in the current year the Ministry will take part in implementation of five national projects and three state programmes with planned construction and capital overhaul of 172 facilities for the total sum of 17bn rubles.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov informed that it is expected to achieve a comparable growth of produce of 1.5%, including that in food production - at least 2.6% in the agricultural sector.
On 4 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety of the republic, has taken a decision to put into operation the “Buran” (Snow storm) plan in Tatarstan starting from 2 pm on 4 January until the consequences of adverse meteorological events are eliminated by ministries, departments and organizations which ensure the smooth movement of road and rail transport in winter.
