Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in celebrations on the occasion of Akhal-Teke horse day

On April 27, Acting Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Director General of OAO “KAMAZ” Sergey Kogogin, Director General of OAO “Tatneft” Nail Maganov took part in solemn celebrations on the occasion of Akhal-Teke horse day in Turkmenistan.
Before the event, Rustam Minnikhanov and President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov had discussed prospects of further cooperation.
Akhal-Teke horse day is celebrated in Turkmenistan on the last Sunday of April and is dedicated to the Akhal-Teke horse, one of the oldest existing saddle horse breeds. It is depicted on the national emblem of Turkmenistan. There are several Akhal-Teke horse monuments in different towns of Turkmenistan.
Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov welcomed the guests and said that Akhal-Teke horse day is a very important event. He thanked citizens of the republic for their contribution to development of the country and breeding Akhal-Teke horses.
Festive celebrations were held at the equestrian complex in Ashgabat.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
