On April 29, during his working trip to Ankara, Acting Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu. Ambassador of Russia to Turkey Andrei Karlov, Tatarstan Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, and other members of the Tatarstan delegation took part in the meeting. Ahmet Davutoğlu welcomed Rustam Minnikhanov and members of the Tatarstan delegation and noted that relations with Tatarstan are very important for Turkey.
Rustam Minnikhanov said that development of cooperation with Turkey in the sphere of health care, small and medium-size business is one of priority areas for the republic. He noted that Mayors of Kazan and Ankara signed a Programme of development of twin-city relations today. It will give impetus to strengthening relations between Tatarstan and Turkey, Rustam Minnikhanov added.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
